    Hi,

    I would like to know how I can extract the sound of a VHS tape?
    I've got all the needed cables to conect to my computer and everything works, I can record from my VCR to my computer. But now is the question, how can I only extract the sound? Do I need a special program for that?

    As long as you have a capture card and capture software, you're all set. Just do an audio capture.

    Your capture card should have come with capture software. Did it?
    If not, there are free ones and not free ones available on the internet.
