shape tween or frame by frame animation?

i want to make a horse morphing into an airplane...
i am not sure what the shape tween can do this or not..?
or i hav to do it using frame by frame animation... ...?
and if shape tween can do... how detailed the horse can be...? or is it just a silhouette?

Anyone can give me any example or reference?

its possible

are they both images? or where they built in flash?

if they are images, then trace bitmap on both of them (depending on your machine speed, they can be as detailed as you want)

then choose break apart and then shape tween them...but you will need to put in shape hints cause the tween flash does for you probably wont be right
