buton question

ok so i have a button that's made of a thin font - so it's kind of hard to hit - how do i create some sort of hit area in flash so that the area that themouse needs to scroll over in order to get the button to work is larget then the actual letters displayed ?

Open the button to edit. Click the 4th frame to select. Delete the text. Draw a recatangle with no outline, just fill, to the size you want. Make it any color cause it'll be invisible as soon as you leave the button clip. That's the hit area.
