Smooth Animation

Hi,

I am creating a presentation, where I have used gradients, etc. in the background. The problem is that the animation (zoom in or fade in and out) becomes very sluggish, it appears with jerks (not smooth).

Can anybody please tell me how smooth animations can be created in flash and also what are the things to be considered for a much smoother effect.

There are many things that can cause jerky animation. Either post the URL so we can see what you are doing or give us a better discription.

The trick is to increase the frame rate of ur movie and animate ur movieclip over more frames.
