[f8] Movie clip on main timeline not playing correctly

Hi Everyone,

On four consecutive frames of the main timeline I've put a separate movieclip on each frame and would like each of the movie clips to play once, then stop and then proceed to the next frame of the main timeline and play the next movieclip, and so. For some reason all the movie clips seem to play at once and I can't figure out why.

I've attached the file, and wondered if someone could take a look to see what might be going on?

just put a stop on each frame where ur movieclip reside on the main time line. as everything u have done is right but u haven't stop the frame on the main timeline where each movieclip resides. do that and ur file will work fine

Thanks for the advice. I just put a stop action on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th frames on the main timeline, but left it off the first frame since I need this to play straight away, but when I test it, the movie clips on the first and second frames play together. I can't figure it out. Did you test it from your end and did it work okay?

Sorry, I just realised I needed to put the stop on the first frame also. Now it works.
