Exactly.
In addition to extra stress on all of your other organs that will need to process more protein than they were designed to in order to maintain weight above your normal size.
Silver. Not criticizing. I did the same thing for many years with tons of gym time, weight gainers, etc. I just found that after so long, it wears your body down to focus so much on weight gain. You can actually damage a strong metabolism that you will want when you're older and don't have as much time or incentive to prune yourself for the meat market. It's why body builder types inevitably end up fat. Look around the gym and you will see those older guys lifting away day after day but still looking fat. Their organs are shot.
I suggest focusing more on athleticism. You can be in great/efficient shape without gaining a bunch of extra weight.
