Hi basicly i've had an idea for a project im doing at uni, ive found an example of a web banner that i think has been created in flash and would like to know a possible method of doing this sort of effect.

I have touched on flash a bit but do not have a huge knowledge of the subject. My first idea was to draw a grid over my image in illustrator and draw each square on a new layer. Then when i would import this into flash, each square would be on a different layer. From this i would convert each square into a button and have a click action which would rotate the button 90 degrees every time it is clicked. Would this be possible or is there a better method to be using?
Sorry if some of the wording doesn't sound right im new to flash.

That sounds like perfect method for this type of project. I think I may have to try it out myself.
