KoolMoves tutorial to build a flash website

Does anyone know of a tutorial that shows how to build a basic flash web site with just KoolMoves ? Something that takes us through the basic steps to create linked pages and a contact form. Or is there a tutorial that is a little more advanced to demonstrate the process in more detail. Any ideas? Thanks

A contact form I believe requires backend asp or php server code.

    KoolMoves tutorial

Thanks Bob. I am looking for a step by step tutorial. A video would be great to show us how to create a flash web site interface with a few pages linked. Anybody know of one?

How are the pages linked? Are you going to a page by pressing a button? I suggest looking the button tutorial at www.koolmoves.com/support.html

    Good Idea

Thanks. I will follow up there. What about the tabbed interface here: http://bretlanius.com/flash/tabs.html ? What I am still out of touch with is the best way to create the flash movie with the pages of the website then linked. I wish someone would show us step by step in a Adobe Captivate how to build basic website in KoolMoves. Seems like a lot of people would want that too. Then we could get creative once we got the basic concepts in our heads. Maybe I should just look a some basic flash training but I do not find anything just about the basic web construction. I have the book Flash CS4 Professional by Adobe. But there is no reference to a basic web site build. Maybe I am hoping for too much thinking that a web site build could be done simply in flash though KoolMoves. Thanks for responding.

    That example is for AS1

Basically make your interface and when you click a button use the event to load a separate movie or show some a hidden movie.

There is an AS3 version of this example template at http://koolexchange.com

I totally agree with you; I would like to have a basic tutorial. I purchased Koolmoves yesterday; it seemed like it would be user friendly and intuitive. As I am getting better acquainted with the software, I find that I am running into several "walls" and unable to figure it out on my own. This is one of the reasons I joined this forum.
I will read the posts first before I ask some questions. Nevertheless, a tutorial would be so helpful

The basics of building a all flash website would go something like this.

You build your menu items(buttons) assign Event listener to each to load content into a movieclip or content panel.

    I'll whip something up.

It would be helpful to clarify this statement
"I find that I am running into several "walls" and unable to figure it out on my own."

The video tutorial made with Wink looks great. Nicely done and to the point.

Thank you Bret! Just what was needed here. That really helped. I am passing the link on to a few others who need the same help getting started. They will appreciate it too. Well done. I think KoolMoves could use a few more tutorials like that. So much better than trying to figure stuff out by reading the manual.
