Firstly, meta data doesn't hold that much weight for Google's indexing. Google will only really take notice of your meta tags if the content happens to match them, so for that your gonna need a paragraph of two containing similar content.

The best way to do this is to create alternative content on your page that is hidden visually. Something like:

Code:
<div id="alternative_content" style="height: 0px; overflow: hidden;">
<h1>X, Y and Z</h1>
<p>This site is all about x, y and z.</p>
</div>

<embed put your flash file here />
The styling on the div will not crush the box to 0px high and overflow hidden makes sure the content doesn't "spill out" the crushed box.

Secondly, expecting to be found under "video footage" is very ambitious - consider how many other sites are out there who's content is related to video footage and you realise what an over-crowder place it is.

Some basics of getting good traffic are:
1. Have good content that Google can index (that means content in paragraphs and headings)
2. Build good quality links from external sites (and you can link back to theirs to strengthen those links as far as Google is concerned)
3. List yourself in directories
4. Use social networking to attract attention and trust: use a blog, twitter, facebook account. There all free places you can effectively advertise.
