10 year anniversary - bring on the tin

As far as I can figure, it was 10 years ago that I registered here at FK.

I have been thinking all day about what else you can do with tin...I finally gave up and googled after getting as far as cans.

Tin becomes a superconductor below 3.72 K. In fact, tin was one of the first superconductors to be studied; the Meissner effect, one of the characteristic features of superconductors, was first discovered in superconducting tin crystals. The niobium-tin compound Nb3Sn is commercially used as wires for superconducting magnets, due to the material's high critical temperature (18 K) and critical magnetic field (25 T). A superconducting magnet weighing only a couple of kilograms is capable of producing magnetic fields comparable to a conventional electromagnet weighing tons.

In the beginning the web was without shape and color, and the hype covered the darkness of the net. Then there was a Flash and life came to the web and vision became reality.

Ah well, I have actually been here and actively involved for every one of those 10 years, so there is a slight difference I think.

I was thinking a medal or a scroll or a gold watch or something.

Paul, 'old' is when you actually start to wonder stuff like that. It goes quicker and quicker every year. Time is relative ...to how old you are

ahhh, sigh ...didn't John Lennon sing - Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

Man, the past 10 years has been amazing for many of us I am sure. People have had kids, got good jobs, travelled, been to concerts, found other stuff to do. The every day wonders of our lives merge in our memory.

and then you need to decide which suit of armour you want. Something along these lines is nice. the knee slashers/protectors are a nice touch.

Well 10 years ago I had more hair and no grey anywhere.
It's been great working from home most of that time and being able to be in the position to be a family man.

Now back to writing code and figuring out why x won't equal to y.

It used to be for special events like Christmas. Then he wore a red bandanna for a bit and the blue/teal hat when everyone had one on their avatars.

I spent my 10 year anniversary preparing my house for sale so I wasn't able to chime in. Anyway, long strange trip and all that. I have a feeling all of my posts could be sifted through and arranged into a fairly large compilation of compelling memoirs.
Cheers to you who have traveled along from time to time.
