Can anyone tell me how I can work on a fla (that was originated on a mac) on my pc?
I don't even know if it's possible.
I received a zipped fla from a mac, but when I open it, all I have is a .txt file....
Thanks,
chrisw

You should have no troubles opening a Mac-created .fla...unless they forgot to include it in the zipped archive!

Yeah, I thought it strange at first too.
I think the fla has been omitted from the zip archive, but where's the .txt file from?

macs don't append the filename with the appropriate .*
so what you have to do is save all of your files and rename them with the appropriate .*
*.fla
*.txt
*.swf
*.whatever
opening up a pc file on a mac is no problem... but if you save it... remember to append it before you bring it over to the pc
appending the file from the pc end will run the risk of corruption
i work crossplatform all the time, and this is the best way to minimize corruption, etc.
