So who all is included in that 47%?

I can think of a few groups drawing "entitlements"...

  • Military,ie: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard
  • People in Prison
  • Government workers, ie: Senate, Congress, Executive, Local, State, etc
  • Social Security recipients, all though I'm not really sure if you can count this one since most people have been paying into it their entire working life.
  • Unemployment recipients, again, I think you have to pay into this in order to get it.
  • Wellfare recipients


Not to mention all the money being sent to our so called "allies". I'm sure their are more groups, many more, but that's about all I can think of at the moment. Surely a very large group of people drawing from a well that is all but totally dried up. Grim prospects indeed for America.
