Please help me if you can as I am very perplexed by this one. I am a newbee and have creted about 5 Flash movies to date. I have moved them to a public site and they work hjust fine. I just finished my lates creation. It is a bit more complex than the others but be that as it may, it works just fine when viewing it as a local file. However, if I upload it to my public site and view it, it seems to only display the very first frame and that it!!!! I'm going crazy... can;t figure out why this is happening. Thanks for your help

This may be not just a problem with your Flash Movie. Just check wether the server your site is on Supports Flash movies.
Secondly , also check your Movie wether while publishing you have checked the option to Playback Paused at Start in the Publish HTML Settings.
Hope this helps.

I did not have "Pause on start" set (which is the first thing I checked). However, I did manage to do something that "fixed the problem. I removed the first frame and the "movie" played. As I said before, if I view the swf file through Netscape and open it up as a local file, it works just fine. It'only when I up load it to my sit (which is a "geocities" public site) that it hangs on the first frame. I've uploaded several movies to the same public site and they all work fine. This is just a reral puzzeler.
