Sound Issue please help

Hi,

Okie heres the problem... I'm creating a presentation as sort of a college application to get into a Music school. I want the intro to come up and be playing the music but i want the background do be one of those line things that move with the beat of the music...

I really don't know how to explain it but if anyone uses winamp plugins sort of like that... any help would be aprecaited!

I have an effect like that on my site:

but it is not at all in tune with the music. It just moves randomly, but you can't really tell though.
