...yes, i too wandered the streets dilapidated and confused upon seeing the Venture Capital anniversary party in VOID.

so here's what i gotta say: that doesn't ever need to happen again! It'll take a little more organization, and a little planning ahead, and i'll be happy to do it...

making sure we have a venue (an *open* venue) and that the people involved know where it is and how to get there and what time to show up, is, ultimately, very simple...

i have some ideas to formalize the rendezvous a bit, but let's start small and work up...tonight Halcyon! When they open up, i'll make sure there are no hang-ups, and post the Go AHEAD later today...

the crosby/broome/grand (which were the st names left w/the g @ void). is a pub named Tapas Bar, i was there and enjoyed beautiful Flamenco performers.. and guess what, when i came back to Void, around 11.. party was almost over
but!! all food and drinks(and girls) were still there., so it was great!!

the tapas bar is named n (w/a tilde over it, pronounced sumpin like 'n-ya'), i was there, out front talkin' to the door guy for a bit cause the chick @ void said sumpin about a 'topless' bar and i made the connection but wasn't sure if it was the right one so, with hesitation, i asked some peeps 'if they were flashers' ha! ha! ha!, you shudda seen the look on their faces. i left just as the flamingo dancers arrived. the gurlies @ void wouldn't have interested me seeing that, i am a girl but glad you had a good time.

when i realized, that sumpin was wrong & the girl (i guess she had an accent) checking everyone in @ the front door of void asked my name i queried her about this gathering of flashers. she said, no not here tonight but that someone had left some info regarding an alternative place to meet. on that piece of paper was written crosby/grand/broome and some scribble above it which she had no idea what it was or meant but recalled hearing some say sumpin about a 'topless' bar. 'yeah' she said, 'i think they said something about meeting at a topless bar'. those were her words, which made absolutely 'no' sense to me what-so-ever . so i roamed, found the crosby/grand cross, but wondered how the hell broome fit into the picture. i ended up asking some random person on the street (a girl), if she knew of any bars/cafe type places in the area and she mentioned the place she was going: n-ya (that's n w/a tilde), which is a, duh, 'tapas' bar. could it be? tapas, topless? i went in after chattin' w/the doorman for a bit asked a couple of peeps if they were flasher and. . . i would have luved to have seen the flamingo dancers but i had to get home. so there ya have it, the whole story and if ya saw a blk girl with shoulder length pigtails in a blk leather coat w/a tool shirt, that was me.

by the way the girl in Void told me about topless bar too.. i was quite nicely intrigued by this new place for gathering.. topless-tapas.. easy to mistake i gues.. she wasn't really friendly to me anyways.. i didn't wear an Armani suit, and my sweater has holes in it

well, it looks like we all had funny experiences last night, in no small part induced by asking "are you a flasher" to random people...i was unpleasantly surprised with the ill-directed affirmations i received

at any rate, i figured a call over to Halycon would be a good idea...so they are ready and waiting for us tonight...Ilia, at first, Shawn (the manager?) thought that i was you, and mentioned one of your ideas, and gave the go-ahead! sounds great...i'll just build suspense and let you tell the group!

look forward to finally meeting the peeps!
