i've got two separate .swf animation files that I need to combine...

a) cloud animation created in Photoshop and Flash MX (good)
b) text animation created in Firestarter 5* (crap - will do it again!!)

* tried other programs (Flax etc), but only Firestarter could make it transparent so it could be displayed on top of the cloud animation.

normally, I would use Clipyard (v0.84) to combine the animations, but when I do so with these two animations, it has the annoying habit of looping them - which I don't want to occur...

i've tried turning looping off - but doing so has no effect...

I should also mention that the two separate swf files do not loop on their own - only when they're combined via Clipyard...

the cloud anim is 60 frames long, the text anim is 51 frames, but they both end together (ie text starts after ninth frame) - I don't think this is the problem as resizing the second anim to 60 frames in Clipyard doesn't change anything...

i've only ever used Clipyard before to combine two Flax animations and that didn't loop...

i've sent an email to Goldshell, but as its freeware they probably won't respond too quickly - hopefully one of you guys can tell me what I might be missing !

thanks

JD

if you are remaking the text swf why not obtain the clouds.fla and make it in that and forget about "combining" them?
