Import oval shapes

How do I import a picture that is oval? I'am gonna use it as a button but the hit area is just square.

Is there a special format i shal import the picture in? I have made the picture in PS

You have to give it a transparent background in Photoshop by copying the oval to a new layer and turning off all other layers. For really smooth results you have to save it as a PNG with the transparency option ckecked.. You could save it as a GIF but the results are pretty ragged. The trade-off is the PNG has a larger file size.

Maybe you could just bring a regular image with no transparancy and place an oval mask over the shape.
