flash satay problem

i have found that the flash satay method at a list apart only works when the flash movie is in the working directory.

i want to put my flash movies inside a directory /includes/movie.swf

however when passing the /includes/movie.swf to the param tag it does not work

i think flash can not recognize the '/'

how can i use the satay method with a swf in a different directory?

what do you mean? can you show an example?
the site will be hosted on a unix server. im working on a mac for the local server now though.
