scroller with tension and decay

help needed !!! can anybody help me. am trying to make a scroller move left to right on rollover, but as it rollout its speed will gradually decrease with tension and decay. i saw this done with the incredibles movie site.

uh...um...yeah.

what version of flash? Look into the tween class for mx 2004 and check out zeh's tween prototype based on robert penners easing equations over at proto.layer51.com for actionscript 1.0. (which is far more advanced than the tween prototype imho)

thanks for the new site u posted big help.
am using flash mx, but i was looking for a scroller sliding menu, that on rollout it moves like a pendelum before it stops, gave me a bit of a puzzle. it was a cool effect. been cracking by brains out trying to find a source.
