ripple effect

hi guys i was just wondering if someone here have an idea on where i could find a good tutorial on how to make a ripple type effect like THIS ? If so please help! thanks in advance.

you couldnt create such an effect using flash alone. use something else, like a high-end graphics app or, better, use 3d, then use copy/paste to make a frame by frame anim... its hard work, and i wouldnt recommend it. What I would to is to use a simple motion tween and some alpha effect. zip

If there had to be a ripple effect I would have made a video and imported that instead of using a bunch of images.
