Help creating sunrise/sunset

Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could lead me in the right direction here. I am trying trying to create a flash movie that changes from day to night and I am having issues. I am no sure how to go about creating the sunrise and sunsets. I would like it to simulate as close as possible so as the sun goes down the sky starts to change colors and the same thing with the sun rise. I was hoping someone new of a tutorial being that there are many elements involved, I am assuming it would take forever to explain. Altogether I would the like the sun to go up and down and the sky to change with it and then at night the moon to come into it also. I am really lost and any help would be very appreciated.
