Half Windsor, half something I can't even remember. I try to keep my tie narrow and the knot tight.

anybody have diagrams on how to do a double windsor or half windsor? I know how i tie my tie, but have no idea what it's called

I learn to tie a know a few months ago, not sure what it's called but i think it's British Knot... or something like that... Searched for it on the net but now i can't find it... lol

i use the sailor's knot. it gets some wierd looks but i find it sturdy.

It all depends on the tie you have, doesn't it? You'd want the knot to fill up the gap between the two flappy parts of the collar, and depending on the tie thickness you'll either want a half or a double windsor. The 60's tiny knot is basically always unacceptable, unless you're in a cocky Britpop band and sporting giant sideburns. The giganto-knot is for sunbed-tanned show-offs driving around in a Mercedes and wearing white leather mocassins.
