An octopus named chumby
Quote:
Kinda reminds me of the iriver U10 that flopped after a poor flash cdk publication and lack of entrust by iriver for open source flash UI capability even though it was built off the flash lite platform. But never mind about the past. Now this little from guy Chumby Industries is gonna excel where other "some what" like products failed. The very first thing I noticed about the object was the size and shape. Though I hope it gets smaller, I think they may be trying to appeal to the more younger teddy bear enthusiasts. Yet it has the capability to uphold any expectations of your average gadget geek, specially the flash kind. So maybe after furthur product marketing testing they'll find it's true form. The second thing is probably the best function of any flash gadget out yet. the wifi capability that gives this product the ability to get widgets from the Chumby Industries. With that in it's self opens this product to many different usages. The third thing was the huge open source ideals that Chumby Industries has for their development of software and hardware. this will ensure that as long as there is some one out there who enjoys this product that there will be a thriving obsession to build upward with it. to get more about this huge upcoming product here are some links http://www.chumby.com/ https://www.adobe.com/devnet/devices/chumby.html http://chumby.wordpress.com/ |
