Wedding Invitations
I've decided to do them myself and I'm looking for some nice good quality paper at a good price. I've found http://www.paperandmore.com/ but they don't ship to the UK.
The theme for the wedding is leaves, so I thought a parchment textured look would be nice. Has anyone got any recommendations of paper suppliers?

wait what?
I thought you were like 16? You should try going into arts & crafts places, they usually have the best paper and if you're going to be buying a big quantity they might give you a discounted rate. Besides, buying full reams is expensive, and you dont want to have half reams left when you're done, its just silly.

go to the park, pick some leaves and glue them on a recycled brown paper, make a wrought iron stamp with the invitation words and burn it on the leaves, deliver them in cardboard boxes with straw and pine cones
that's what I'd do, if I as marrying a sasquatch or Starkey

I designed ours but then we took them to a printing company to have them done. The price was good and they had 20-30 different styles and weights of paper to choose from.

O M G.
What are you granola stoners doing? 'Oooo, I want nature on my invites...' Classy white, copperplate printing. Minimalist is best, hands down. You will live to regret these adventures with your invitations, mark my words.

Class never goes out of style.
In forty years, people will look at these nature invites like they look at a tattoo they got in their drunken youth and wonder what the hell they were thinking.

i don't really see hte big deal with invites.
i designed my own and printed them myself too. no they weren't outstanding quality, but there are other aspects of the day which i'd far rather spend my money on! and i think my guests would agree!! |

I've seen the simple invites and they're boring and have no personality to them. also being able to bring in a theme that's carried out through the whole wedding reinforces the those details to the guests. |

Me too, I can't even remember what ours looked like and that was only eight years ago, but there's plenty of people who save them as recollections of their 'best day ever'.
Scrap book types, if you know what I mean.
