Flex Scheduling Framework - Calendar project

Hi!

I have posted this thread under "Flash ActionScript" as well, but thought I'd give it a try here since Flex might be the way to go for this project.

I'm to set up an application that displays different projects over time. Se picture here: http://andremyr.com/div/prosjekter/stav08/monthly.png

There can (obviously) be more than one project at the same time and I need to set it up for different views, like showing projects in one year/month/week/day.. The user must also be able to select projects at a particular location and type. All this info is in a database provided by my client. The user makes his selections at the bottom area.

Any pointers here? The client uses Coldfusion MX and different CFC's/webservices has already been set up..

This is in the same ballgame of what I am trying to do:

$$ USD $$ If anyone has any experience to pass over to get this through, I'd be happy to sign you on this one... Just contact me and we'll work out the details..

I have found these pages related to Flex and what I am trying to do.

I'm not sure what to tell you on this one. The Scheduling Framework is a work in progress and both it and quietly schemings version are incomplete at this time. With so many people working these interfaces (and some pretty large teams at that) and it still not being finished It clearly defines the complicated nature of the code.

You might want deep pockets because I imagine a complete version similar would be some seriously custom stuff and not likely to be offered up in a forum as a reply

Yes, as I'm looking into this more and more, I can see that you are right Chris! Very interesting stuff though! Can't wait for it to be finished (and me getting my head around Flex..)

Here is another link on the Calendar from Quietly Scheming

Still, if any has some brainpower to offer, it will be appreciated!
