animated water wave n boat

hi , i need some aid in doing an animation of a simple yet professional looking water wave movie clip...and a animated boat that will rock as the wave moves....any help will be appreciated...

Get a Disney movie -- something like "The Little Mermaid" -- go through the bits you are interested in frame by frame, and take some references from that. Disney have always been great at animating water...
