Banned. Once again, warez will not be tolerated on these boards.

I can't believe anyone would think it would be tolerated.

believe it. you'd think that IP Logged would stop that type of activity here.

It's amazing what some people consider acceptable.

Macromedia was the first to contact me, and did so within minutes of the original post, so a ban is probably the least of this person's worries.

Iluvdesign... so u r saying u got the full version without paying a single cent...... consedering the fact its not even out and you get it before a million of people do.. its not fair to some of us here.....But i can't blame you though.. a lot of people would have done the same thing.

mike, nice to meet you. you will most likely see me send you a ton of e-mails in the next few weeks or so.

better yet, I'll give then to John Starkey Nice to know you guys DO float around the boards. Maybe it will make people think even that much more about posting URL's to warez.

Mike, nice to see you. Perhaps we can get your member title changed to "The Eyes of Macromedia" or something much more sinister.

things have looked much better this time around (so far ) than the time around Flash 5's release. I'm hoping we don't have an all out assault after the 15th of warez posts and such. We can all keep our fingers crossed.

Take Care,

you could buy it from a retailer, (all over the world) or you could even ask someone with a credit card (you parents?). The reason software is expensive is because of piracy.

Flash is not a game, it shouldn't be $20 or whatever, it is a professional media development tool, its not to be messes about with and then put back on the shelf. I purchased flash 5 and believe I have got more than my moneys worth due to the extent I have used it.

You cannot justify warez by moaning about a high price tag. For what Flash is, its easily justifiable.

It boils down to morals. Some people have them, some people don't.

to Mike Chambers -

It is great that you are here advising, considering last minute software changes, hearing "the people" etc. MM has fantastic support, more than any other software I use, and it shows they care, by having people like you work for them.
Just wanted to give a high five to MM!! and you!!

Morals...

I'm sure not a one of you "morally superior" people replying to this post ever used Napster, Morpheous, or a similar program to download music...

how can someone be banned with no warning whatsoever just for downloading an 'EXTERNAL' file that has nothing to do wityh flashkit. Fair enough banning trhe originbal poster, but banning someone that read that post, thats absolutely way out of order. Shame on you Flashkit moderator
