    Because you have more images in your swf file then an art museum. Plus there's 82 frames. If you're going to use that many images, make them optimized gifs. Use the load movie feature. Check the quality of your wav files. Use a preloader. Compress your swf file under export settings.

    Having almost 300 shapes don't help either.

    This could crash a pc

    Why not use loadMovieNum and have each individual swf with its own preloader. That way you can have a 3meg site that seems like a small site.
    Any programming language is at its best before it is implemented and used.
