Mmmm well I am fairly settled in Sydney now. Have a (hopefully) stable internet connection, bought a mouse, so I'm all set to try and get back into things. Anyone up for a go? Noticed people might be busy with other battles.

Well, Im no heavyweight in the arena, but Id love to give this a shot if youll have me. If youre looking for someone with a little more skill, then that is your prerogative.
Awesome image ct. If it werent for my vacation coming up I would have liked to take you on. I'll get you some other time. This should be a fun one to watch though, looking forward to it.
Very nice image CT. I'm going to be the first to do this but, I do wish you had softened up the water and sky a bit. The foreground has a beautiful fantasy look about it but the background has a more "real photo look". Awesome job on the forground image. I really love the colors in this one.

Using the stock of the moon - took the cloudy lower section and bumped the contrast with layers then roughly cut round with a feathered eraser. Inverted and set the layer to multiply for the dark mist and set the layer to screen to get a light mist. Then just duplicated those layers, adjusting opacity and erasing bits as required
Sorry Juju, I hadn't seen your acceptance. I suppose it is up to CT then.
Well I really don't mind either way. But since Juju posted first I guess he gets first pick. I'll try attaching thi image for you. Nayades could never see stuff I hosted either. Weird.
If not then I am more than happy to battle you DaVulf

Cheers for that! Quite often I get so absorbed in just maintaining as much detail as possible I don't notice when it is working against me. I agree a softer background, certianly the sea out to the horizon would have brought out the foreground more and added to the fantasy look.

Your call. I did finish a volley though since your image was so nice. I figure I might as well post it, even if you go with Juju instead.
I don't know if I've said it before, but I know I've been thinking it with every single one of your images, ct...You're the best photomanipulator here. I get so excited when I see that you've taken up a new battle. *does happy dance*
