i can't figure it out
I use KoolMoves mainly for tutorials (yeh i know it can do lots more) and there is one thing i can't figure out. when i create a frame with text or images containing motion script, how do i create a duplicate frame but allow the text and images to have independent control over the motion scripts? e.g. presently if you have a frame that says "Hello" with a motion script and create a duplicate frame when you change the motion script properties of one it changes both...

If you duplicate frames, by adding a copy, it will duplicate the text field. If you then click on this text field and cop and paste, it will create a copy, but with a new name. Delete the origonal one, and now work with this copy, click to remove the motion effect, and you will be back to static text again, or if you prefer you can add an alternative effect. This second text will stand independant of the first. So the rule is if you copy and paste on the same frame you make an independant copy, if you copy the whole frame it makes an exact copy.
Hope that explains it. |

In the latest version, there is a copy command called Complete Copy. It will give you an independent text object.
