Zip files in Koolmove Movie
I have been using Koolmoves for three years now and I am still amazed at what it can do. I have recommended it to many new users who have purchased it an are as amazed as I am. Every once in a while I hit a snag and I come here to get help.
I have a web site that caters to Solid Modeling that use DXF files and Jpegs for textures. It has reached the point where these files are taking up too much space on my site and I need to compress these files into something more manageable. I have a few questions as to the procedure and the scripting to make these zipped files available to my visitors. #1: Is WINSIP the only zipping software that will work with Koolmoves or is something free available to zip these files? #2: Can folders containing a DXF, Jpeg and text files be downloaded by my visitors, if so, could someone provide the scripting? I have tried zipping these DXF files with a free piece of software that has the file extension ( .cczip ) this does not work in Koolmoves. I have been using the on(release){getURL("AGA-Cooker.dxf",);} That I received in this forum and it has worked well for most types of files but not .cczip Does anyone have any solutions? Necro, this is right up your scripting alley. Thanks DickN1943

You can handle the zipping in PHP on the server. I suggest you look around on http://www.phpclasses.org for help with classes that handle zipping files. You can handle the uploading and downloading and communication with PHP in Koolmoves.
