    Problems with ActiveX and Version

    Hi,

I have some Problems with simple Flash Sites!
Everytime I get the message with ActiveX!
    I use the Version 6.1.2
With the Version 5.X there was no such a message!

    1. Where can I switch off this message?
    2. How can I change my swf file so that it runs with Version 7 without the update Message?

The Problem is, that a user must accept ActiveX
    although no elements are present.

    Thanks all for help

    Uwe

The activex message has nothing to do with the swf; it is related to the html code.

    Hi,

    1. I Start Koolmoves
    2. Play in WebBrowser
    3. Message appears Allow ActiveX Yes or no!
If I click on NO the file will not start!

If I change something in koolmoves e.g. Motion Script I get the same Message!
    Allow ActiveX Yes or no!

I made a demonstration.swf and uploaded the file!

On another System FLASH asked me to update from Version 7x to a newer version! But it should run with Version 7 too without ActiceX!

    Sincerely
    UWe

You still didn't answer me completely so I'm left to assume certain things.

I think the warning you are seeing is due to the security level setting in IE. You have it set to ask to allow ActiveX plugins. In IE Flash is enabled as an ActiveX so you have to Change this in IE settings. You'd get the same warning for Quicktimes or Mediaplayer as well as ANY ActiveX control

As for the update message you may have exported to V8+ in KM and that is why the update message. Besides since version 9 is the current version why not update anyway it's quick.
