I am doing a hybrid cdrom in Flash 5 and have created my flash.fla file on a pc. When I publish I select both mac and pc stand alone player files.
The problem is when I check the stand alones only the pc version will work. I can't get a mac to play my mac stand alone. Does this have to be published on a mac to work? Anybody seen this before? |

Mac projector (filename.hqx) is not executable, it's form of encoding - kind of Mac 'zip' file which contains the two forks (Data fork and Resouces fork) Mac files have. If you simply burn .hqx file on your PC and try it on Mac it won't work. If you send it via e-mail and open it on Mac it will decode (unzipp) and run without problem. To burn hybrid CD on PC you need an application which creates image file (with all your PC and Mac files) and then burn image on CD.
I had similar problem lately and I solved it with application called MacImage.
