I really like the sky in the first one. Just one little nit pick- burn out the bottom so it is completely blacked out and silhouetted and then maybe burn a little more around the tree so the sky is the same in the sky as it is around the tree(looks like you dodged the sky around the tree like a haloing effect.

Thanks - I'll give that a go. The haloing around the tree - rather bizzarly, the shape of the clouds actually wrapped around the shape of the tree giving a haloing effect. It probably didn't help me dodging that area as well but the haloing is mostly from the actual shape of the cloud.
