Hey all ... I was wondering ... is there any "Tutorials or Tips" on doing SIMPLE animations? Kinda like the stuff you see in "The Cartoon of the Day" etc. I need to start small before going full on like you guys! hehe. Any links that teach how to do that stuff would be great. Do you have to DRAW everything?
thanks
Tyler the try hard. :-)

Heh heh well yeah you pretty much do have to draw everything but watching anime will teach you how to effeciently use still frames and make them appear to move. Also with flash you can take a keyframe and copy it then edit it this saves you redrawing everything especially when the character is talking. As for tutorials Im sure we will see some very soon.

Has a pretty good tutorial for learning how to do a limited animation, cut-and-paste style animation - well suited for Flash (as you get to reuse a lot of your materials, and thus keep the file size down). This also cuts down on your need to draw every keyframe.
Other than that, best way is to keep on drawing and come back here for tips until some of out Flashkit animation tutorials have been posted.
