Dear Friends,

I have to write an animated GIF into FLASH file. How can i do it?
Can anyone please give me hints?

file>import>choose the gif you want. Flash will break it up into different frames and keep it's timeline.

With the SDK?

Load up the GIF. Parse the GIF pallete / image frames. Use DefineBitsLossless to create image objects (one per frame). Place objects / frame tags.

once i get different objects for different frames, how should i proceed to achieve animation? where should i give time delay?
