Thought Iíd start up a thread. Whatís the best animation on the web? Hereís my top ten.

1. Joe Paradise. This one tops the list my list in nearly all categories. Its hip, its cool. The graphics are awe-inspiring and the story is great. The voices are perfectly cast. Itís just a good Toon. Check it out.

2. Battleseed. A new one for me. I just started it a few days ago and Iím hooked. Anime usually isnít my thing but this one grabbed me right off the bat. Again the voice casting is great and the look is hip. Unfortunately they are only on episode 2 or 3 so there isnít a lot to judge right now but what Iíve seen so far makes my mind boggle at what is in store for us. Itís Ďoní the hook.

3. Elmo Aardvark, outer space detective. This one is funny. Smoothly animated and funny. Did I say it was funny? A classic in every sense of the word. If you love the old Sat. morning funnies than this one is for you.

4. Mr. Wong. This one represents everything I donít like about most Wepisodes. Its crass, its crude, its offensive. Fart jokes, minorities are made fun off. Itís rude and crude. But I love it. The animation is cut and paste but the look works here I think. And if Mr. Wong pissing on Elvisí grave in ĎUrine Troubleí doesnít make you laugh then check for your pulse.

5. Blue Falcon. I really like this one. Sort of like a moving comic book. I donít know why I like this one but I do. The comedy is good but misses the mark a bit at times and the animation isnít smooth, but I really do look forward to each episode. I think the whole idea of a moving comic appeals to me. More please.

6. 7th Portal. Episodes are a bit short so it takes awhile to get into it but a very nice series that I love to watch. You can tell that somebody has put some time and money into these. Very professional.

7. Star Dudes. I just watched this for the first time yesterday. Itís not often that your jaw just drops open and you think to yourself ďI canít believe they did the whole efín movie. This is great. Use the force dude.

8. Heather Hunter, Bullet Proof Diva. I have only caught a little of this one but it looks good. Action packed and high octane. Just what I need to watch on my lunch break at work. And tough chicks rock.

9. Garbage Island. I really like this but while watching I always have a feeling of waiting for it to get going. It always seems so close to really taking off but it never does. Here it is episode 7 and we have just gotten our first glimpse of Garbage Island and then they go on summer vacation so we have to wait until the fall for more episodes. Ah well a good show despite it all.

10. Superhero Roommate. Dave Foley is in this and thus it is cool. I miss NewRadio.

Iíd love to hear your views on these and suggest some others to watch. Iím always on the lookout for great new animation.

Shockanime? My website. I don't think I'm as good as those sites above yet :(

But would you all like to see a preview of Genyu Blade?
It's the first 2 minutes.
The last few minutes are all action(not shown in preview)
If I post it will only be up for 2 hours. For security purposes.
So if you all would like to see it reply to this post ASAP.

I'll check back shortly.

Oooo, now I am salivating :). Great scenery, great utilization of colors, great smooth animations, love the depth of field effects, and the shameless plugs for your site and flash kit anime are nice ;).

One question:
Do you do all the voice acting or do you get help?

Once again, great work, can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks on the comments.
The scenes in that preview have been edited and a few things have been added to it.

As for the voices , I do have a few friends helping me there. But the funny part is we al kinda sound alike.
So I guess I'll need more voice actors soon.

"It's takes disney 4 years to produce a cartoon with 40 to 60 people working on it. How long does it take one person to do a 7 minute cartoon?"

Sorry to everyone who missed the preview. :(
Well the finish product will be done soon.
The fight scene is cool ,also it's taking the longest.

Oh well back to work.
