I was bored, so decided to start a thread =)
Which do you think is better, Vecta 3d or Swift 3d?

This is an old thread, :) Swift 3D is the best because you dont have to save each frame out as a seperate model to animate, you can bring in all your atributes to the model from 3D max aside from textures. You can model and animate in the environmet. So all around its a better product. Regards, Bill

I never saw Vecta...

But! Swift 3D is so low! I never was able to export what I wanted, It's like it couldn't handle my models - they we're to detaild!
I made them in 3D Studio Max, but swift just wont export them!!!

Swift 3D maybe better than Vecta, but it still is low.
Someone should make a real 3D program like 3D Studio that exports the animation directly to .swf.

That's all I had to say...

So, can you provide a pointer to one of these models that Swift won't render? Have you sent the .3DS file to Swift3D customer support?

Ok... I didn't...

But still, it's not a real 3D engine, it's more like a "Import Export" program that half of the time doesn't work.

Swift has never been advertised as a 3D engine. If you have a problem with it, the best way to improve the product is to send your models to Swift customer support.
