Help! I finally figured out how to convert wav to aiff to bring into Flash 4 on my Mac G3. When I save the file out as swf - it plays on my mac but the sound does not play on my pc. I used Sound App for the conversion (wav to aiff) and tried a multitude of conversion options. Flash on my Mac would only accept (on import) the format with encoding -PCM selected. Can someone please tell me the exact format and steps to take to make my swf files work on both mac and pc?

What export settings are you using for the sounds.
If it is ADPCM you should know that the Microsoft ADPCM codec is different than the Mac one and they don't always go across.
If you export them as .Mp3 they should go cross platform.
Flash doesn't accept on import anything other than PCM, it doesn't recognize any compression codecs, or for that matter doesn't import 8khz files porperly.
