I have an audio track that I want to play once and then trigger the movie to go to frame 1.

how do i set up a script that returns the timeline to frame 1 at the end of an audio event?

Please help!!

Im not to sure what you mean though whatever keyframe the audio starts at, you could add more frames on the end (F5) until you can see where the audio ends. then you can determine where to put the GOTO action, where the audio ends, im not sure how to explain, just keep adding frames to the end until you can see where the audio ends, and thats the place to put your GOTO action..... If thats what you mean.......

I need more information.

is it in the main timeline?
in a movie clip. is it triggered by a button?
is it in a seperate.swf file loaded into level1?

Dear Jydnas,

Here goes...

I have sound in the main timeline that plays from beginning to end...the synch on the sound is set to 'streaming'.

what i want to have happen is that no matter where you are in the movie...when the sound clip ends...you go back to frame 1 of the timeline.

it's a postcard and not very content-heavy...the user can only do one thing once the intro animation has finished ...and that is..flip the postcard from theoretical front to theoretical back...once they've done that there's lots more of the tune to play...so once the song is over i want to go back to the beginning.

how do i do that?

"No matter where you are in the timeline" a...

well you might want to try
putting the music in a little movie clip
then in the last frame of the movie clip
put a keyframe there
and double click on it.
then put

Tell Target (_level0)
Go to and Stop(1)
End Tell

Set the music to Event
if you use event the music won't be in sync with the animation
but it will play no matter what is going on in the main timeline.

See the thing with that is the music doesn't
control the timeline
the timeline controls the music so if you were to put the music in a movie clip
it will play on it's own time line.

you can also do that in the maintime line
but as soon as the animation playes the last frame it will stop.

There are some other things you could do
if you need i can explain them to you.
