I every one. I need your help.. I just got Flash MX and one of the reasons I got it's because of the new cool future of importing video and transform that video into a flash video format. I remember Flash MX comes with a pre-design Video control panel that you can just pick and grab under your player. But I forgot how to do that?

Any expert here on this subject?

Your help will be most appreciated... thanks.

I got it.. The player works fine now with the video but it won't control de audio.. As soon as I test the video the audio will star up automatically even if the video is not. and the CONTROLLER won't work with the audio the CONTROLER just controls the video? I have the audio in a separate layer.. and that was because when I imported the video file FLASH didn't allow to import the video of my AVI video file.

HELP!

How do I fix this? what am I doing wrong?

Convert your .avi to a format Flash supports, this is dependent on the codecs on you system - but .mov works well with Flash.

You may also want to use Sorenson's Squeeze Pro for MX to prep the files. http://www.sorenson.com

Hi,

Try out our newest release of Wildform Flix 3.0 Pro. In addition to all the features available in the previous versions of Flix, 3.0 allows you to create customized players directly from the program. It comes with a selection of precreated players you can choose from. The players will control both the audio and video tracks of your video. Finally, if you can play your source video in the Windows Media or Quicktime player, Flix will be able to convert it! There's a free demo available at: http://www.wildform.com

Check it out. Oh, if you already own a previous version of Flix, you can upgrade to 3.0 at a reduced price. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Arjun

Pozo, have you had luck getting the audio issue straightened out? One issue to keep in mind is that you will need the the audio codec on your machine that you are trying to import to Flash in order for it to import properly. Your best off making sure the audio and video are in the same track if you want to contol with the component.

Arjun, if you're going to plug your software - please be kind enough to offer some advice in the same breath. We do have rules on this.

Spiritless, you will need to look into Flix to publish video for Flash 5.
