I'm a newbie to Koolmoves and I need some help. I am trying to trace an image. After I trace the image the lines are really jagged. How do I smooth the lines and retain the shape of the image I just traced? Any help would be great.

TIA,
TLS

If you are using the point-by-point tool with which you click to place a point, I would suggest spacing those points apart and then using the add curve tool to add a curve point in between the original points. Then move the curve points to fit the curve to the underlying image. You want to avoid ending up with hundreds to thousands of points because that will make the swf file large. Johnie can possibly suggest some autotracing options. Does that help?

Its funny but of all of the autotrace programs Star Draw is the best. a pre-alpha binary of SO6 is available here:
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/get_binaries.html

There is project dealing with just Star Draw and you can download the source for it at http://www.openoffice.org.

The ultimate goal of that project is to create just a Star Draw binary.

Star office 5.2 (the last version of Star Office- Sun has given the product back to the Open Source Community is available at: http://www.sun.com. Star Office originally was an open source project that Sun bought and then realesed 3 versions of it then they GPLED it on OCT 13'th. It isn't that SUN is are nice guys or that they think that the product can't be marketted. They did this to hurt Microsoft. Sun Office is 95% interoperable with MS Office and sun's main product is Servers and server side software.)
