Hi, i have been learning alot about search engines recently and found that having built my site completely in flash wasnt such a spiffing idea after all!
I am rebuilding it with a html index page that will be search engine friendly and link to all other html pages in the site.
But... i would like to add a bit of java script to the html index page which detects if a user has the flash player, and if they do; take them to the flash version of the site.
I figure this way i can achieve better search engine results, people with flash players can view my site the way i would like them to but html viewers still have a site to look at.
Does anyone have a bit of java which would do this?
Any help much appreciated as allways! xx

there are various methods, www.moock.org has one and there is a deployment centre on macromedia you can look at, www.macromedia.com/support/flash/detection.html
