Please Help,
How do I get a .SWF file to auto run from a CD I create and load the flash-shockwave plug in from the same CD if needed?
Thanks,
Will.

Create an executible (projector) and than use any autorun program off of any cd, but be sure you change the variable on the autorun file to point to your file.

Hope this helps,
Mike

open notepad or any other basic text editor.
make a new text file and name it Autorun.
put this inside it:

[autorun]
OPEN=STARTUP.EXE
ICON=ICON.ICO

*Note* - "startup.exe" should be the name of your flash executable file, and "icon.ico" is for if you want the CD drive to display a specific icon file you've included, if not leave that line out.**

now save and close the file.
rename it's extension from 'Autorun.txt' to 'Autorun.inf'
put this in the root of your CD, same as your exe and that's it! when you put the (burnt)cd in, the drive will first read the inf file and follow it's directives.

Your welcome! :)

Thanks, Gabbermedia and Tagbo for your help and advice, it works well.
Can projector allow full screen when a user views the .exe file or does this have to be done manualy. Is it possible without importing etc.. useing Director ie another program?
Thanks again .........watwillbee

To cause a projector file to automatically go full screen you set that up on the first frame of your flash file.

Put this action on the first frame:

FS Command ("fullscreen", "true")

that will make the file play at full screen even in the projector.
