I was wondering if I can play 1 or more midi files in KoolMoves?

I want to try and create "Midi Albums" that can be made into a standalone EXE file, so users can not mess with my midi files.

If this is not feasable in KoolMoves...

Anyone know of a program that can create "Midi Albums"?

Thanks,
fwhilton

KoolMoves cannot import midi audio. Johnie can address the issue if the sound can be added with javascript. Next week, mp3 capability will be available.

According to a friend, Flash does not directly support midi audio. If I understood him correctly, through a combination of flashscript and javascript you can attach midi audio. I know that Johnie has posted on this forum how to include flashscript in an action.

I would perform a search on FlashKit or ask on a general Flash forum how to include midi audio in a Flash movie. I believe that KoolMoves can do what you want but I don't have the technical knowledge to piece it together.

you have a copple of options:

1. convert the midi- can be done easily with wav recorder and media player.

2. embedd the midi into the web page

3. play the midi through javascript.

<EMBED SRC="midi URL" AUTOSTART=true
VOLUME=50 HIDDEN=TRUE>

That is the code to embed midis in a web page.
