i am designing a flash movie to send out to architectural firms for jobs and i am concerned that the movie won't play the same on their computer as it does on mine.
do they have to have flash on their computers to watch it?
if so, is there a simple way of putting a flash plug in to trigger the movie and guarantee that it will play?

When you publish the file have it generate a Projector File in EXE if for the PC.
Or you can go over to the Players and select the FlaPlayer.SWF and load the SWF file into the plkayer and then save it as a projector file.
Or, in case you are using a third party tool and if you have SWF studio it creates custom projectors that have expanded FS commands. Just load the File into SWF studio and hit the make projector button.
Or, in case you are using a third party tool, and have SWF browser then you can hit the make projector button while the file is loaded into SWF browser.
When you do one of those things you will get an EXE that when distributed will play on any PC.
Mac projectors are a little more difficult. The HQX that is created must have resources allocated to it before it is usable.
