When I attempt to load the flash-typer it just blinks on and off, and on and off between 'loading flash-typer' and the start screen for the flash-typer. Any ideas why this might be happening??

try clearing you cache/old internet files. To do this, choose tools>internet options, and delete files. Then visit flashtyper again.
Did that without results. Could I have a corrupt file. I have received flash movies in the mail and the sound did not come with it. I don't know if one is connected to the other but as soon as I can get my window open, out goes the computer!
