how do i use a scroll bar in koolmoves so that it scrolls down fluently and not just go to another page?
the only way I can think of at the moment is this:
make a movie so that the scroll bar is at the top in the first frame, then at the bottom in the last frame. then put some of the info into the stageing area in the first frame and keep the rest out of the staging area. then on the last frame move the first bit of info up and out of the staging area and move the next bit of info in. NOW, REMEMBER-ALL of the info you are scrolling through MUST be in both frames. If its not it won't look right. Just show, say 1/2 the info in the first and the other half in the last. Now comes the tricky part. Assigning frame and button actions. first you must assign a "stop Movie" action to the 1st frame. then on the 'down arrow' button of your scrollbar, assign the action, GO TO FRAME, and specify the last frame. then apply another "stop movie" action to that frame. Now, that takes care of scrolling down. For going back up you assign the "up arrow" of your scrollbar the GO TO FRAME action again. Only this time you specify the 1st frame. That should work for you. If you have alot of info to scroll through, you must add additional keyframes along the way. for instance you can put one 1/2way. the first time they click the 'down arrow' on the scroll bar, you assign the GO TO FRAME and name the middle keyframe. Assign a "stop Movie" action there as well. Now change the button action for the "down arrow" to GO TO FRAME and name the last frame. you will have to do the same for the up arrow. but if you have a lot of info to scroll through, you should think about just loading it into different pages. People don't like to scroll through alot of stuff to find 1 thing.

it seems confusing, but if you print this out and follow along with KM running, it should offer no trouble.one last thing, go to http://www.koolmovers.com for more info on what KM can do.
