I tired inserting a SWF as an object - which works fine - but then when I tried to rotate it, it did not rotate in KM... when I exported to swf it did rottate but in a different manner in which I tried it.

It rotated in KM but you couldn't see it because I was drawing the bounding box rather than the movie frame associated with the swf. It is fixed. I will probably send you a new beta late tomorrow.
