Absolutely no need. The were-here people came here, not to flame, not to get flamed, merely because their server was down. They, as well as all the regulars here, are welcome and are a valued part of the community.
This only goes out to the limited few but there was absolutely no need, its times like these that sometimes I am ashamed to be a part of this site. Talk about bringing a whole communities reputation down in one foul swoop.....

the new admin are going to make changes to this community, issues like this strengthen the case to get rid of post counts, members titles, footers and the gif images. This is your community, don't let it be destroyed by a few small minded muppets
